Maersk introduces Europe-South Africa peak season surcharge

Maersk will implement a Peak Season Surcharge on shipments from Europe to South Africa, excluding Mozambique. The surcharge will take effect on 15 October 2026 and remain applicable until further notice. Maersk attributed the measure to strong demand and limited capacity.
